As I was buying a few fun things for the 4th of July this year my eyes welled up with tears thinking about Ruby being here. Our newest American citizen came to us less than 8 weeks ago. Yet, the joy she has already brought our family could last a lifetime. I feel so much responsibility to not let her down as her mother. So, I take pause this 4th of July to thank God for the gift of my two children, and for the freedom that living in American holds for their futures!
