The Yugan Sisters are Together Again!

Ruby and Hannah in Foster Care together in the Spring of 2007

Ruby and Hannah yesterday!!! 5 Years Later!

Ruby was so excited yesterday! She got to skip school to meet an old friend! Hannah and Ruby were foster sisters in Yugan. Thanks to their orphanage Yahoo group I connected with her Mom shortly after we returned from adopting Ruby. Until yesterday we have never met in person. Thanks to email and Christmas Cards we have been able to keep in touch. But there is nothing like spending time with someone that shares your daughters past. It was a special day! Thank you John and Caroline for making this trip!! Hannah is precious!

Ruby and Hannah did not skip a beat.. They hit it off immediately, played great together, and even gave us their best for a mini photo shoot!!!! We wish Miss Hannah lived closer... Hopefully this will be the first of many visits for these sweet Yugan Sisters!

Wow! What a wonderful blessing for all of you!!! Is there any chance of sending yesterday's pics to their foster parents? What a treat that would be for them too!

Happy, happy day!

Diane,
So Awesome that they were reunited. There is another family with us and we think our daughters were close in the orphanage. Mia calls for her by her nickname yaya. When one of them crys the other gets upset. So sweet. Luckily this family only lives about 3 hours from us. We are going to have to keep our Ganus girls together.

Just Awesome!!! We were blessed to drive down to Atlanta from NY several years ago to meet a little girl who was in the same orphanage as our ELla...such a blessing!

So darling. What a blessing to have this history and connection. We have no clue if Kate had any foster siblings. I posted her foster Mom's photo on our "orphanage " website several times with no response:(

Good catching up yesterday. Hope the rest of your visit went well.
