We went back to the beautiful Xuan Wu Lake this morning so I could take pictures. I was able to capture the beautiful landscape and many glimpses of life on a Sunday morning in Nanjing. But, what really struck me on this gorgeous day, were the precious faces of the babies of Nanjing. Here are a few of the sweet babies we met today...

Tomorrow at 9:30am we leave for the Civil Affairs office to receive Emme Jade! I will admit, I am feeling nervous.. It's such a huge day for all of us. Please pray for our sweet girl at 9:00pm central time. Her bed is ready, her toys are packed, and the snacks have been purchased. Our guide is wonderful, and we are ready.. Ready to be the family that Emme Jade has been chosen for!
