Tea & TuTu's!!

Her Rubiness invited the Queen to tea at a new location last night! Her room.... We have been borrowing The Pearl's Tea Table... Last night, she changed venues... We discussed a "Tea with Ruby" birthday party for her this summer. She told me she would like to serve candy and cupcakes to her guests... I look forward to stepping down from my throne and helping at that party!!!!
Have a great day!
Blessings,
The Queen

Tea Etiquette with Her Rubiness!

I guess is you have had a book named after you, you take your Tea Parties very seriously. There is no talking with your mouth full at one of Ruby's Tea Parties! She will call you on it! Especially if the Queen is in attendance! Today we practiced drinking our tea with our pinkies appropriately up!!! You can see she is a quick study!
The Princess was so exhausted after her day of entertaining, she fell asleep on the babysitter at 7:15! If she would have listened to the Queen at nap time, she could have had a new guest at the tea table to give a few etiquette tips to! Maybe next time Her Rubiness! Caroline will take a raincheck!
Blessings for a great weekend!

Classic Her Rubiness!

It was snowing here today! Yes, I know it is March 26th!
Well, as I have mentioned before, Ruby does not like layers of clothes. Her preference is to be barefoot, sleeveless, and spinning around in a twirly skirt or a tutu. And, I wonder why she has been sick so much this winter?? Today I had her dressed in a darling smock shirt and leggings for a very fun play date with her friend Clara. That outfit lasted about 1 hour! Once she saw her pals ballerina dress, she had to get on one of her "prom dresses!" Did I mention how many cute pairs of pants she has?!
At about 4:00 she told me she had to go outside and taste the snowflakes.. I indulged her with the agreement she would at least wear a sweater!!!!! Here you see her "tasting" snowflakes!!!! There is just something about the freedom of this photo that I love! Don't worry, she did not stay out long. And, ten minutes later she was in her snow pants, boots, coat and hat and playing on the swingset!! Oh, how I love this spunky girl that God picked for us!!
I can not close without a "GET WELL SOON" shout to Grandpa Al, Grandpa Bill, and our friend Katie Ru! We love you all!
Blessings,

Barefoot and so Happy!!

Can you tell from these photos I took yesterday that my girls are ready to play!!!! Both of them were so happy to just be outside. I even caught them barefoot!!!! Why does 6o degrees in MN, feel like 80 anywhere else in March? We are headed in to full week of forecasted Spring showers so it was nice to take in the sun this weekend.
The Pearl & The Ruby had a wonderful time on their day with Daddy on Saturday! And, I will admit I had a wonderful day too! Thanks Jeff!!! I love you for knowing just what I needed! Watching the way you love our girls is such a blessing to me!!!
Ainsley has eight days of school left before she is officially on vacation. Yesterday my brother and his family confirmed they can meet us in Mexico for part of our trip. So the four precious girl cousins will be together ages 2 - 9!! I better bring two memory cards for my camera!!!!! This will be our first family vacation together!!!!! Becky/Mark - Thanks for saying "yes!!"
Well, no school for Ainsley today. So, we are going to have a little field trip of our own on this rainy day!

The Pearl Welcomes the Tooth Fairy!

Dear Tooth Fairy,
"I am so excited that I FINALLY lost my front tooth.
Would you mind leaving it, so I can keep it?
Thank you!
Love, Ainsley"
The Pearl lost her top tooth last night after weeks of waiting! As she told me last night, she is the only one in her entire school who has not lost one yet!!! It is true, she is late in losing her baby teeth. Ok with me... But, she sure does look cute with the big gap on top now!
That sweet tooth fairy left $3.00 for #3! It must have been because she knew how patiently her subject has been.
Blessings,
