365 Project
(All shot in Auto with Nikon DX 18-2oomm Lens)
I actually got Ruby bundled up and we went out for a stroll yesterday. The first walk I can remember in a long time with her actually sitting in her stroller! It was just what we both needed! I love this blue hat on her. It was the hat Ainsley wore in our Christmas card photo before we received Ruby's referral!
Thanks Kim for giving a purpose to some of the random photos I take. I look forward to our photo class soon!

I have been wanting to do this myself and actually started a week or so and then fizzled out when my camera or should I say the operator couldn't fugure a few things out. lol..... Great pictures!
I'm going to try this as well. I dont go anywhere WITHOUT MY CAMERA!!! SERIOUSLY!!! I never know when I will catch a perfect shot of my little one. I love the BLUE HAT! I bought a soft blue hat a little similar to YOUR RUBINESS, but my little one has little white faux fur around the brim of it w/a matching sweater. I LOVE IT ON HER! I have NOT BEEN ABLE TO CAPTURE A GOOD PICTURE with her in it, because she always PULLS the HAT OFF!!! Augggggggggh 2yr olds!!!

Hello. Long time lurker here to ask you a question. Your photos are so beautiful. I like you got a D90 for christmas and am trying to move off the auto mode. I was wondering what lens you used on the photos of Ruby in the blue had! You are very talented! Love your blog!
You might think I am crazy, but when I looked at the first picture and the rest weren't in view, I wondered if it was ainsley when she was younger...It looked like her teeth and smile. I think Ruby and Ainsley are really becoming sisters that their looks are resemling each other. I know that to be true for a friend of mine, they have 2 children adopted and then were able to have one naturally. All three a caucasion, but they all look like each other and like the parents...Anyhow...just my thoughts...nice pictures, I will look forward to more...Kim

I started the project but gave up because I never remember to bring a camera with me and my phone has a really crappy camera built-in. Good luck can't wait to see more of your adventures! It really is a cool project to do!
Kim inspired me as well. I am 10 days in, and I am finding that it is hard to take a photo of a different topic everyday already! I do not know much about photography, but I am really starting to want to know more!!! I love this idea!
