Actions Please!!
Yes it is true, I take a lot of photos of my girls... Sometimes they are willing.. Often times they are not... I find the shots I love the most are the ones that are not posed. The ones where they look up from something they are doing, or turn there head to look over at me.. I have been in a bit of a rut as far as creativity lately... It's time to take a class again, or get in on the "actions" excitement going on. Does anyone know of any great actions for PSE? I am hoping to upgrade to Light Room soon.... But, until then I would love to dabble in the "actions" world! Or, if there is a great class I could do this summer, let me know!!So, since I am feeling in a bit of a photo slump, I wanted to post two of my favorite pictures of the girls that I have taken recently... Both, for different reasons, take my breath away! Yes, I think they are beautiful.. But, these two little girls are so much more than that.... I am blessed to be a part of their lives!
I hope you all had a great Memorial Weekend. We had a fantastic one with Camp H... I need to download all of those pics and post some here soon! It's the Pearl's last week of school, and "The Things" are going to a fun mini-camp while I take every opportunity to get organized before I become the official "Camp Director!" Only three more days!
On a completely separate note, Sienna's surgery for her teeth has been moved up to June 17th.
I truly believe she will do great, and I will be the one needing prayer! :)

I see someone has already sent you to Pioneer Woman and Coffee Shop. I just got CS3 and downloaded some actions from both of them, but don't know what to do now...LOL! I am taking Lisa's class next week, so maybe I will finally know what I am doing in Photoshop. I love Lightroom and have lots of presets in there that are fun to work with. Your pics are so beautiful without anything though Diana! Have a great day~

I asked this same question this week and went here too. I loaded lots of free actions from this website. There are tutorials that show how to use as well. Editing is SO fun! Your girls are beautiful and so pray Sienna's dental surgery goes well!!!

I was JUST wondering when her teeth surgery was going to be. I knew you had posted about it. Said a prayer for her...and now I will say one for YOU!:)
I couldn't personally figure out the coffee shop or Pioneer Woman free actions...but I ordered from Nichole Van and I couldn't be happier. I love, love, love her color pop action. You get what you pay for. I love the flexibility with it and am not super familiar with PSE.
Prayers for the dental surgery. M made it through hers. Miss Sienna will do great and so will you Di.
As for actions, I have PSE 7.0 - I don't think it handles actions - but if it does, I'd love someone to tell me how. I wish it did. I have CS4 at work and that is super easy to work the actions.
muI love both of those pics!! The one of Ruby cracks me up!! I LOVE it!! I'm so far in the dark ages, I don't even know what "actions" means!! Dang it!!! Maybe one day...
Get Shana's Florabella actions. Everyone seems to LOVE them. Go to her florabella site...it is dreamy! I have them but have yet to figure out how to install or use them (just a lack of time for me).
I think your photos look great but I know what you mean. I have been in a total slump too but it s due to other fish in my frying pan.
