Happy Birthday Emme Jade!!!!
There are really no words to describe what it was like to receive these photos taken at Emme Jade's birthday party in Yangzhou.. Just seeing the table decorated with everything we had sent made me tear up.. I am truly touched that Jeanne and her nannies would take the time to make her third birthday so special! And, knowing that the other children got to share in a good old fashioned birthday party just makes me happier than I could ever eloquently express here. According to the sweet note we received from Jeanne, they all had a wonderful time. She said the birthday girl was very happy!!! I hope on some level Emme will remember this special day with her Yangzhou family!
Emme Jade, this will be your last birthday without your forever family! We can't wait to be with you next year at this time! We love your birthday girl!!

Oh what a wonderful little party she had. Just the joy on her little face brought tears to my eyes. Praying for you next trip to China. We will be in Minneapolis (Edina) the 20th-28th visiting my husbands family. Would love to personally meet you but know that you will just be getting back from China with Emme and getting adjusted to your new home and family.
Seriously!! How adorable is that!! I love that first one...and I LOVE that her fingernails are still painted!! I also love the picture with all the children wearing their sunglasses and blowing their blowers!!! This is precious. How wonderful to have these pictures to show her when she's older...she is loved by many!!!! Happy Birthday Emme Jade!!!! I love you too!!!!!
Oh my goodness!!!! I LOVe this! I love it, not just for Emme Jade, but how special for all the other kids in the orphanage who got to be a part of this special, special day!!! You guys amaze me and we cant wait for 8/8!!

What great pics. We have a Jiangsu boy....it is really a great place. Nanjing has alot of history that is wonderful to hear about. It was so great to see all the other children in the swi having a great time too.

Oh Di the only thing missing was you!! What a perfect Hello Kitty party for your sweet three year old!! I love every picture and every expression on her cute little face. Oh my God, this is seriously beautiful, and I just teared up. Such happy faces, such memorable moments. These little ones, I just pray that they will each find their forever family. It is heartbreaking to think that they might never meet again once they leave this place, but oh, how I hope and pray that they will never forget each other.

Oh...so heartwarming to see what a wonderful celebration they had for her birthday. I was thinking of Emme Jade a lot yesterday as I celebrated my birthday, but I didn't I didn't get a fancy party like that! So glad you will have her in your arms soon.
