Emme Jade IS Home!!!!

Emme7966

After a good night of sleep, and a busy morning of probably doing more than she should, Emme was released from the hospital!!!! She woke up from a nap pretty happy when Nurse Linda told her the IV line could come out!!! We arrived home at 1:00 with our precious patient!... She took a long nap, and is now happily re-united with her big sisters! Keeping her quiet and relaxed is going to be the biggest challenge in the next few days.. She is ready to go! Amazing!

IV Out-7967

(The IV line being removed!)

We left the hospital with a deeper appreciation of God's plan for our little girl. She was a light on a hospital floor with a lot of sadness over the past 24 hours.. She brightened the day of a doctor who had a very sad morning, a few nurses offered to to take her home, and a surgeon who just received her referral from China, got to discharge Emme today! She was so excited to show us the referral photo of her new baby boy! It's a reminder that God always has us where He wants us to be at any given point and time. What a blessing it was to share some joy this week with some people we may never encounter again!

Tonight we give thanks for God's faithfulness, and for one sweet little girl who is safely home!

So happy to hear she is back at home! I think she may be a doctor or nurse someday by the looks of her watching the IV being removed. What a blessing that she brought joy to so many at the hospital.

So good to hear...adoption touches so many! At times we can feel alone in this role as adoptive parents and that is why I love your blog! So glad to hear that Emme did so well. I bet you are so relieved! What a little cute blessing she is! Jen @ lifewithfourcrazykids.blogspot.com

That little sweet pea is nothing but a trooper! Now she is right where she belongs- being loved and cared for by her sweet family. Wish Aunt B was there giving her some love. Give her a kiss from me.

I get teary every time you post. What a kindred spirit your little Emme Jade is. My own Emme Li is as well. How blessed we are and those who have the opportunity to meet our brave, courageous, funny, silly children.

I've been thinking of you guys and praying all the testing and procedures went well. So glad she is back home now and doing so wonderfully.

My favorite part of this post was reading your heart of knowing God had you just where He needed/wanted you in that exact time. How He used your precious Emme Jade to be a light to the doctors and nurses who so needed it on their sad morning. What a blessing she is, on so many levels! And how cool is that ~ that the surgeon happened to get their referral of their little boy at the time you were there!?! How neat! I love hearing about another precious child being matched with their forever family... the miracle of adoption is a beautiful thing.

Have a blessed week!

OXO,
Tanya
