Family Photo Shoot...
I was blessed to have an Easter Birthday this year... And, we were all blessed here in Minnesota to have gorgeous spring day! After church we went driving around to look at houses (another post for another day..) My sweet family willingly agreed to let me take a few family pics.
Thanks to my very generous and awesome husband we can now officially leave for China when we get the call!!! I will be electronically equipped to photograph and document our journey to Emme Jade! Let's just say Jeff spoiled me rotten! Come on LOA and TA! We want our girl!!
As you can see these pics are a little too bright in some cases.. Ideally, we would have taken these were the sun was not shining so directly at us... I was just happy to get some sweet shots of the people I adore! It's not every day the are all on board to humor me!! Thanks guys! I love you!

A Hug From China!
These precious photos were sent to us by someone we will just call Emme Jade's "Gaurdian Angel" for now. I received these after I received the photos of her where she looked so sad the other day... They were actually taken on the grounds of her orphanage on April 8th. I think God knew I needed a hug... A little birthday present from adorable Emme Jade! I just can't wait to hug her back!! Is it selfish to ask for an LOA for my birthday too?

When The Wait Gets Long...
The truth is waiting is hard... Especially when you receive photos of your precious little girl with tears in her eyes, and a runny nose. Waiting is hard when you receive an email from a special Mom who met your daughter and held her in her arms... A Mom who understands just how hard it is to wait for a little girl half a world away. A lovely Mom who told me my daughter is petite and dainty and that she has a beautiful smile. Waiting is hard when you haven't seen your child's face.. But when you have, and you have heard her sweet voice on a video, it is in-describable. I am thankful that I do know it will happen. And, it will happen on God's time, not mine.. So, while I wait I will continue to give thanks that Emme Jade is in a special orphanage. I will give thanks for the amazing photos we have been blessed with. And, I will pray for my daughter. For protection, and for her sweet little heart to be ready for the love that is waiting for her here. And, I will pray for favor from China for the approvals that are still needed to bring her home!
Thank you "R" family for blessing us with your thoughtfulness! We appreciate you checking on Emme Jade for us... And, we are so happy she loves her sparkly shoes!! We have a feeling she is going to fit in beautifully here!

A Special Day!
It has been four years since my immediate family has been together. Yesterday I got to celebrate an early birthday with my big brother, my sister, and my parents.. To make it even more special my precious niece, Wylie came too. It was such a special night! Thanks Mom for making it a beautiful party. And, thanks Aunt Bop for providing the delicious dinner! It was a quick gathering, but one I will cherish for a long time!

This was the first opportunity Mark and Sienna had to meet!!
And, Miss Ruby Mei loved hanging out with her Uncle yesterday... She loved having him carry her around during our fun time at the MOA.... She even agreed to go on the swings at the Nickelodeon Universe with him! By the way, we discovered that Sienna is FEARLESS!
She loved every ride the big girls went on....
My big brother who I have adored since the first time I laid eyes on him.. I miss you already!

"Petti-Cute!"
You may recall the last time I attempted to take pettiskirt pictures it was a humbling mommy moment! If you need a keeping it real laugh on me, that post is here.
Well I am happy to say that today, Miss Ruby Mei stepped up to the Pettiskirt plate! With the help of my fabulous assistant Ainsley, we got some fun shots of the cutie in her petti!
We had an absolutely gorgeous day today... We finally saw 70! I guess the weather and the need to practice with my new camera inspired me to give that skirt one more whirl!
The reports from AZ are that Sienna is doing great!!!! I am so proud of my big girl! Ruby asked me ten times, when is Sienna coming back? She misses her buddy!
