The Opportunity to help Foster a Child in China!....

Some day I will share why this program is so near and dear to my heart.  But, that's another blog post for another day.  For now, I want you to know that Pearl River Outreach is looking for sponsors for their wonderful Bamboo Babies Program in China!

When you sponsor a child you help to provide stipends to foster parents to provide for food, medication, and baby formula for your child.  But, because of the state of the financial market today, programs like this one are being affected.  The cost of rice and formula are increasing which is making it difficult for PR to maintain it's monthly support of these children at their current rates!

So, I am taking this opportunity to encourage you to check out Pearl River's program.  You can sponsor a child in full, or share the cost with a friend.  You can also make a donation to their general fund.  You can learn more about their programs at their website.

I hope you will have the opportunity to change the life of one of these beautiful children!

"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name, welcomes me."  Matthew 18:5

Blessings,

I am going to have to look into this program, it sounds AWESOME :)
Our Sophie was in a HTS program (our other three were not) and the difference is AMAZING. If I could only find the person who sponsored her for those few years, I would give 'em a big old HUG!!

Ok, can I just copy and paste this on my blog? I was thinking of posting about our little girl and putting her pic on my sidebar...I have seen others do that?

Hope your week is going well~

I have also been meaning to do a post like this. Time keeps getting away from me! The little girl we are sponsoring's "name" is Ainsley and so when I pray for her I always remember to pray for your girls as well! :o) I believe that's God! :o) He's so cool like that!

Blessings,
Jenn

Thanks for posting this. I have been meaning to look into supporting a child in China through a program like this. Saw Ansley's commercial last night. I was yelling at the TV and my family thought I was crazy.
