Every day I see this relationship growing... Sunday Sienna and Ruby asked Jeff and I to push their beds together... That question just made me pause to realize how far they have come in less than one year. As I have said many times, this friendship and sister relationship has blossomed on their terms... It's been a journey for both of them. But, honestly what relationship worth anything, isn't a journey? I can look back at the magnitude of how their lives both changed overnight. And, honestly I am so proud of them both. At four and five years of age, they have learned so many big life lessons. Most importantly how to love, trust and forgive. Perhaps that is why God gave us siblings in the first place! As I have said a million times.. Their's is a precious red thread story of two little girls who share a similar beginning, hand picked by God to leave China and be together here and now. Again, I am thankful for the front row seat... Adoption truly is a a miracle!

Yes - We survived the great white snowglobe over the weekend!!! Yes - we did get almost 20" of snow in less than 24 hours! It was a true, Minnesota blizzard!!! I have not seen one like it since I was in college!

We made the most of it! Thankfully, we new it was on it's way so I had everything we needed to hunker in for 2 days! Sienna's reaction when she finally got to go outside, "Awesome!" Awesome indeed! Thanks to Jeff we were able to see the driveway, and get out on Sunday!

The girls kept busy, making Christmas cookies, doing a play for their parents, playing school, playing dolls, and watching movies. Thanks to our resident Camp Director, Ainsley, Sienna and Ruby had a lot to do! We have now made it through the entire "Santa Clause" trilogy and a few other Christmas favorites!

Sienna has discovered a love for dough, and a few Christmas cookies!!! She is truly embracing her first Minnesota Christmas! More soon on the sweet Pre-School concert, and a priceless Wordless Wed photo coming this week too!
