A Day in the Life of "Thing 1 and Thing 2"

Please know that we are lovingly referring to Sienna and Ruby as "Thing 1 and Thing 2" because of their ability to destroy any room within 1.5 minutes!!! I wish I had the Cat in the Hat's magic vacuum cleaner!!! :)
So, here are pics of what we have been up to!!! Thank you Lord for beautiful weather!!!!! Sienna has had some really great days. Considering all of the changes in her life, she has done amazing!!! And, Her Rubiness definitely deserves our praises. She is doing so well considering how much of her life is now being shared. Even her clothes!!!! It took her a couple of days to find her sense of humor. We are so proud of her!
Before you go today, will you please click on this petition and sign it for Sienna Grace so future adopted children can receive an immunization waiver!
I will be reaching out to Senator Klobuchar personally about our experience in China!
Blessings,

Love them both...
I love all the fun photos of your sweeties... "Thing1 and Thing2" !! :)
And I just wanted to let you know that I did already sign that petition...just over a week ago when you were preparing for your travels back home. And guess what else... I signed it in honor of Sienna and all that your family endured during your stay there... I actually wrote about it in my petition letter before I signed it! I pray that Senator K's heart, eyes and ears are open when you contact her. I am behind you 500% and then some!!
Blessings,
~Tanya
"Thing 1 and Thing 2" are absolutely adorable.
Hugs,
Mandi
The 2 sisters look adorable together! What a blessing it must be for you to see them enjoying each other.
Off to sign the petition right now!
Adorable girls...what nice pictures! Like Tanya, I signed the petition last week after reading what Sienna endured because of it. So glad to learn that the girls are adjusting well to all the changes. Blessings! Diana
I just signed the petition. I Was just reading on another blog about the parents fighting with the Guatemala embassy because they did not want to make their daughter have to go through all the shots before leaving the Country. It turned out that they were able to leave after signing some form and after getting a blood test here in the US... their daughter had already received the necessary immunizations in Guat.
I know totally different from China than Guatemala but still very much the same.
Love your sweet "things"!!! Phew - their diary of a day made me want to sleep HARD! Do they still nap!?!
Thankful for the beautiful weather coming (& staying) our way!! Lots of swimming this summer!
Really, could you have even DREAMED this big? Sisters forever.
Your little "Shamrock Girls" are just darling! I have twin stepdaughters(now grown)from my first husband and they were referred to as Thing 1and Thing 2 too as well so I totally understand what you mean!
We've signed the petition and add our sentiments to Amy Klobuchar too. We certainly don't want our Sienna to experience the same when we travel.
Miss Sienna has literally become "younger" in your photos. I can see the worry, fear and doubt is fading away and she is becoming a secure and happy little girl.
Blessings!

"Thing 1 and Thing 2" are so cute together. I love seeing them playing. Looks like we need to send the girls one of our Footcycle bikes. :)
I will sign the petition. My heart broke when I read your posting that Sienna had to get 7 immunizations. That's crazy!! We we returned home with Lucy in 04, they wanted to re-do all the immunizations she had in China. I made them space them out, it took a long time to get them done.

Signed!!! It must be nice in MN! NO coats..!!! Of course for you northern folks that means anything above 30....
The cutest "things" I have ever seen! I follow a blog of a lady who adopted twin 3 yr cl/cp from China. She is SO funny and lovingly calls her tornado twins thing one and thing two...that is where I saw the shirts!
Heartwarming.
Welcome home! I love the photos!
I will sign the petition right away. Wow the girls seem very busy!!! I m sure they are both delightful and exhausting:) They look so cute together!!
Your girls are just so beautiful I can hardly stand it!!!
I am anxious to hear how your talk with Senator K. goes. I hope this law can be changed soon so more children don't have to suffer like Sienna did.
Welcome home!

So sweet to see Ruby and Sienna together! We continue to pray for their adjustment. I gladly signed the petition! I have always been convinced that immunizations should be spaced out so their little immune systems can handle them better.
I love checking in on your blog. Your pictures of your family are so beautiful and so is your family. I love all the cute outfits that the girls have. One of these days can you post some of the places where you are getting these great outfits - especially all the cute monagrammed things!
I saw this on Etsy this morning and thought of you. I think Miss Ruby and Miss Sienna need these dresses.
By the way, I followed your journey every single day while you were in China. What a blessing Sienna is! I also prayed for you all every single day, as well. So glad she is home safely with her forever family.
Here is the link...check it out!

Stunningly beautiful!
...and I already signed the petition while you were in China! Keep us posted on what you hear.
They are just precious! You have such a beautiful family, Dianna! What a blessing to be able to see life through the two of them!
I signed that petition as well!! No family should have to go through what you went through!
Thank you, Lord, for beautiful weather!! Have fun!
So glad to see everyone home and together! The girls are cute as a button playing and "creating"!
Too cute!
Have you ever seen these?

My dd, now almost 9, wore it for a couple of years, and now dd2, almost 4 is wearing it. Thing 1 and Thing 2 are featured prominently!
I will sign the petition now!

They look like that are having a blast. You are one busy Momma!!!
I signed it a couple weeks ago!! So important and I hope it is changed before we leave for China!!
Holy cow! It looks like Thing 1 and Thing 2 are keeping you very busy! So glad things are going well. Sienna was the perfect addition to your family! You are soooo blessed!
P.S. I just signed the petition.
How completely wonderful your life is! What fun you all are having!!! I signed the petition a while ago and now thinking about Sienna it is so much more real... and I know I will face this when we travel for ShayleeJoy. Blessings!!!
Oh the girls are precious together :) I also signed the petition - my heart broke when I heard how many your poor Sienna had to endure and then got sick!! I'm so glad she is doing so well :)
I love all of these!! As I looked at each one I would think, "that's my favorite", then I'd see the next!!!
Seriously too cute!!!! Love the warm weather pics!!! hope it stays that way:) Glad the girls are having fun together!!! Wish we were there to play with you guys!!!

Diana, Thank you for doing this. I have been following your amazing journey and pray often for your family. We are in the process of adopting our second ddaughter from China. She is 9 years old and because she was almost 7 when she was found, the SWI did not give her ANY vaccinations. SO, no documented vaccines will mean 7-9?injestions in GZ like your daughter. I had signed the petition a week or two ago so I can not sign it again but am encourging family and friends to sign it. Our first daughter was almost 6 on Gotcha day and we were able to vacinate her at home one injection at a time. we also did titers to see what was needed. We would like the option to do the same with our new daughter. Thanks again, and thanks for sharing your beautiful family~
Diana, I forgot to sign my name to my comment. oops! Brenda, mom to Manon and soon to Sarah Fu Chuan xin.
