What's Bedtime Like at Your House?

I thought you would all like to see how much control I have getting "Thing 1 and Thing 2" to bed! Tonight they were bathed, teeth brushed, reading a story, and the party began....Miss Sienna started it! In the week we have been home, we have successfully seen Sienna fall asleep in her bed during story time twice. The other nights we have taken her downstairs to unwind, and fall asleep on the couch. Then we transfer her. It's not ideal, but until we can communicate better with her, we are doing our best! The good news is she is sleeping great once she falls asleep. Which of course means we are getting sleep too!

We are still getting in our groove, but for now, how can you not smile at these two silly sisters! Perhaps their nicknames should be "Double Trouble!"

Sweet Dreams,
Diana

P.S: I am beyond touched by how many of you special people have signed the "Vaccine Waiver Petition" on behalf of Sienna and those yet to be adopted under the Hague Convention. Thank you, Thank you!

The girls are too cute, and great inspiration! I love your photos.

We have written letters to all senators on the Committee in hopes of getting the Bill passed - we pray that when we travel to our daughter w/ Thalassemia she will not have to be get a zillion shots!

How can you help but smile? I LOVE it! Looks like they're gonna be the best of friends (and sisters)! It made me laugh to see the cute picture a few posts below where they are standing side by side. They are almost exactly the same size! And so cute! You are a BUSY and BLESSED mama!

It's nice to see that you have as much control of bed time at your house as I do. Basically -- none. hahaha. Glad you guys are finding a routine -- even if it's not idea. We still don't have the idea routine either and have been home 5 weeks. I'm shooting for September. Love all the pictures. Such adorable girls.

Maybe Sienna is a "party girl?" LOL!!!! They are adorable and I am sure that Sienna will fall right into the routine before you know it. I LOVE getting these updates as I feel like I am getting to know the newest member of your family little by little:)

They just look like two peas in a pod!
