Born to be an Empress!

EmmeDiva-6Blog

Well, we still have a lot to learn about our new daughter but it is clear that Miss Emme Jade is a princess! Her favorite thing to do, is to be pushed around in her new chariot (stroller!) We saw our first display of how strong willed she can be today.. We had to take her out of her stroller to get her into our van. She did the washer board and locked her legs so we couldn't get her out... So, like any good new parents we put the stroller right in the van with Miss Emme Jade in it!!!! Since there are no car seats in China, she was probably safer anyway!!!! It was a priceless look she gave to Jeff when she realized she won that one! It's going to be a sad day when the real boundaries kick in.. But for now, we are happy to bend the rules for our baby girl!! Good thing she is so darn cute!!

This story made me laugh out loud! Emme is so blessed that her parents know a "little" about parenting :) that's exactly the type of story that freaks first time parents out, but you are able to take in stride! Your beautiful peanut has such a bright smile, she's just the cutest little girl!

SO FUNNY!!!! I am sure she will test the boundaries for a while. I can just picture Jeff picking up the whole stroller and putting in into the van. It is exactly what i would have done too, And yes, good thing she is SO cute!!!

Oh my goodness! She didn't want to give up her throne! Ha!! I would concur that China isn't exactly "real life" - that will come soon enough!

Diana,
Let me start by saying that you have the best taste! The clothes that you have selected for Emme have been so precious and perfect for her. How did you know that she would look so fantatic in turquoise and orange??..I think her very dark hair is such a good contrast to these colors. Gosh, how I love dressing my princess too!! So glad that Emme is adjusting so fantastically. She is so darn cute; makes me get the butterflies just hoping for our referral sooner rather than later.

I giggled as I read this story on your travel blog, too! I think it's safe letting her test a few boundaries with success for now, too... you have the rest of her life to get those set in stone. In the meantime, sure enjoying the stories and her cute stubbornness... she IS lucky she's so darned cute!! ;) We kept saying that about Khloe, too. (who am I kidding ...we still do!!!)

LOVE that sweet smile of her's... I can just see the spunk in that adorable face!!

That is great! Can't wait to hear how putting her in a car seat at the airport goes when you go home! ;)
Thankfully, Chloe thought it was pretty cool and if
jie jie was doing it, it must be! ;)
Can't wait to hear what tomorrow brings!
