A Hidden Gift!
I have been on a quest to get my videos from China all downloaded so I can work on a "movie" for our family. I have successfully downloaded everything except three tapes that were on our old video camera that recap the day we received Ruby's referral pictures and our welcome home clips. Long story short, on Saturday while trying to figure out how to download these tapes I found that our old video camera (purchased before Ainsley's birth) had a memory card. When I plugged in the camera to my MacBook up popped over 200 still pictures that were stored! They were dated June 12, 2001 (Ainsley's b-day) - September 2002!!!! What a blessing it was to go through them all. I have included just a sampling of some of my favorites!!!! The first picture was taken about 2 hours after Ainsley was born, all swaddled up and alone with her clueless parents for the first time! I remember it like it was yesterday!

That girl was always a doll, wasn't she? Oh she's a beauty and how fun and special for you to travel down memory lane today.
I can't wait to hear how you're doing with the video. I didn't get to it for Lindy in 2007. Maybe this year will be the year...

Precious! Did you notice that in the second picture, her sleeper has ladybugs on it? A hint of her Rubiness to come? Isn't that just like God?
