Sienna's Surgery....
Thank you to all of our precious friends and family who have texted us today, emailed us, left messages. What a blessing to know that in such a short time, Sienna has touched so many of you. Some we may never meet. Thank you!
Sienna's surgery is scheduled for 12:30 tomorrow. Our prayers for our sweet girl are that her Spleen will be removed laprascopically! For protection for her from the risk that she will face in the days, month and years ahead for infection without her spleen to filter. And that by doing this her blood levels will stabilize, her hemoglobin levels will increase and her need for transfusions will go down.
We have been blessed with a wonderful Hematologist, Surgeon and Pediatrician. And ultimately we are blessed with the power of prayer and the Greatest of All Physicians who I know will be in that operating room holding her hand! The One who called her by name long ago to be in our family. The One who knew on this very day she would be in a wonderful hospital, safe and loved! The One who loves her even more than we do! For that we are eternally grateful!

Praying for you and your family~ especially Sienna. I KNOW God will be in the OR. He was when SJ was there. Actually He was holding me too. :) I pray He blesses you with all the peace in His power.

I had goosebumps reading this, because you are right, our Father does know everything she's went through and everything that is ahead of her. Incredible.
