A Sweet Sienna Story!

DSC_3874

Friday I set off for my first weekend away alone since Sienna came into my world. I knew she would do great, and I also knew it would be wonderful bonding time for her with her Daddy.I can happily say, that both of those things came to be. But, before I left Sienna kept telling me she wanted to come with me. She and I are very attached, and the Mommy in me, had a little heart tug leaving. (Of course that was until I backed my car out of the driveway and sat on the plane Friday morning with my Starbucks!) I will admit it, I needed a little "me time!"

When I was packing for the trip, Sienna came in and asked me if I would take care of her beloved "Hello Kitty." She carefully packed her in my suitcase and gave me directions on how to take care of her. When I talked to her Friday night, she asked me where "Kitty" was, and what she was doing! :)

Last night when I got into bed, I found Sienna's photo in a frame on my nightstand. Jeff told me she placed it there.... What a blessing her tender heart is!

I have not seen Sienna yet. I arrived home late last night... But, her precious friend is waiting for her on the end of her bed!

I hope to post pictures soon from my workshop. Here is a sneak peak!

I am so glad that Sienna missed you, but did "okay" too - what a big girl. I know that first time leaving them is tough - for everyone.

I hope you had a fabulous weekend at Visions. I can't wait to see more photos!
